ARTS FOR ALL NEVADA VOLUNTEERS
Arts for All Nevada at Lake Mansion is hosting the
Youth Art Month Festival on Saturday, March 11th from 10 – 2 pm. Volunteers are needed to assist with all the creative activities. It is a really fun activity for families with children of all ages. Teenagers can also volunteer to help with the art and book activities. Volunteer or just come to this free community event!! SPREAD THE WORD NEVADA VOLUNTEERS
Spread the Word Nevada is dedicated to advancing childhood literacy in low-income communities by providing every child at their partner schools with a book to help build the child’s in-home library and encourage book ownership. The students can choose their own book. They work with families as well to encourage reading at home.
Volunteers are needed to beautify and prep books for children that are distributed every month to under deserved schools. This is a perfect activity for groups and individuals and times are flexible. Spread the Word NV is also looking for book donations and consistent volunteers to help with book deliveries to partner schools on Mondays and Wednesdays.
